Rex Artisan Bakery is looking for a new experienced Senior barista/ Bakery supervisor to join our happy team. We have weekend hours, or full time vacancies (5 days including weekend). • We train you. We explain what all the breads are & why they are special so that you are able to talk to customers about them. We help you perfect your coffee-making ourselves and with our roasters’ expert help.
• We have great equipment & train you to use it! La Marzocca coffee machine, excellent grinder, state of the art toastie grill, upgraded dishwashers, hot hold for the customers etc etc
• we invite you to a real coffee whilst working, a toastie or kitchen menu plate on your break if relevant, staff discount for our lovely products and you can take unsold baked products home for free at the end of the day
• We support charity - we raise funds for Neuroblastoma, we want to donate our unsold product each day, last year we raised >£1k for Ukraine Unicef by making & selling Ukranian Biscotti.
• we don’t shout at or abuse people, we respect each other and don’t tolerate any -ism’s in the bakery. We support each other, and we talk about it and resolve if anything goes wrong.

We want you to grow with us and be with us for the long term, like many of our staff have been. As a PT Senior barista/ bakery supervisor, you will be involved in everything from selling & serving, merchandising, preparing food, presentation of the bakery, of course making coffee, waiting, clearing up, closing down and working with the General Manager who oversees our 3 shops & team to generally operate the business. Lots of fun responsibility with support & the ears of the owners.
