Gourmet Food Parlour have an exciting opportunity in their restaurant in Brown Thomas, located in the heart of Dublin’s iconic department store. Our restaurant offers an elegant and vibrant dining experience, celebrated for exceptional service, refined cuisine, and a curated selection of wines and cocktails. We are now seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Bartender to lead our bar operations and deliver top-tier hospitality to our guests.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a senior bartender or bar supervisor in a fast-paced, high-end hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of wine varieties, food pairings, cocktails, and specialty coffee preparation.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team while maintaining exceptional service standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and a proactive, hands-on approach.
• Strong understanding of stock management and inventory systems.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

• Lead day-to-day bar operations in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including wines, classic and contemporary cocktails, and specialty coffees to the highest standard.
• Provide expert wine recommendations to customers, enhancing their dining experience.
• Supervise and support junior bar staff, ensuring excellent customer service and team efficiency.
• Ensure consistent bar presentation, cleanliness, and full compliance with health & safety standards.
• Oversee stock levels, restock bar efficiently throughout the day, and minimise waste.
• Collaborate with the restaurant manager on stock control, inventory management, and monthly stocktakes.
• Contribute to beverage menu development, bringing creativity and product knowledge to the team.
• Handle customer queries and resolve any bar-related issues with professionalism.
