A Snapshot of Your Day As a member of an international development organization, You’re part of a development team for electrification in a system integration environment for Marine, Offshore and Process Industry. The Electrification Solutions are part of our integral Electrification, Automation and Digital solutions, which require Know How and background in the respective domains. How You’ll Make an Impact Prepare, verify and evaluate battery (cell) tests Analysis of battery cell, module and system test as well as field data Development and parametrization of battery cell and system models Contribute to the improvement of current and development of next-generation Siemens Energy battery storage systems Stay up to date on relevant developments in battery technologies Follow up with suppliers You’re a dedicated team player and share your experience and learn from others Appreciate the global working environment You’re open to new technologies, tools and ways of working What You Bring Master’s degree in electrical engineering/chemistry or relevant field, and a PhD in battery technologies (electrochemistry/physical chemistry) or at least 5 years work experience in relevant field Knowledge of battery chemistries, especially lithium-ion batteries Work experience with battery cell technologies and their integration in energy storage systems Expertise in experimental work (cell testing) and modeling/simulation of batteries Experience in battery state estimators (SoC/SoH) Expertise in MATLAB/Simulink and battery test equipment Experience in field data analysis and evaluation Communication and presentation skills (English) Experienced in working in international development teams Knowledge of energy storage systems related international standards and regulations About the Team Become a part of our mission for sustainability: clean energy for generations to come.
