How we’re seeing the role: You’ll be responsible for the development and enhancement of cloud-native applications part of Jiminny’s Conversation Intelligence Platform. Your well designed and written code will analyse and expose trends, actionable steps and insights into customer conversations to help revenue teams win more business. As a Senior BE Engineer you’ll take pride in building readable, well-designed, and well-tested software. But most importantly, we believe that you need to love what you do and have fun doing it! What needs doing: Design, develop, and operate distributed cloud-native applications; Provide feedback, training, and recommendations for continuous performance and improvement of Jiminny applications; Translate product requirements to well-crafted software solutions; Write clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code; Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure outcomes meet business objectives and compliance standards; Participate in code reviews. The bits that we can’t do without: 5+ years of proven experience in distributed software; Solid PHP 7+ expertise; Laravel Framework; Building and consuming RESTful APIs; Knowledge and development experience with OOP, SOLID and design patterns; Very good level of written and oral English; Relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL), NoSQL Data backends (Elasticsearch, Redis); Code quality - test automation; Very good level of written and oral English; Willingness to learn and at the same time to mentor less experienced teammates.
