Description:
The Senior Benefits Specialist is a vital member of our Human Resources team, responsible for the daily administration, communication, and compliance of our employee benefits programs. This role requires a meticulous and empathetic individual who can effectively manage complex information, provide exceptional employee support, and contribute to a positive and transparent benefits experience.
Requirements:

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 4 plus years of experience in employee benefits administration
  • BSwift Platform experience is required
  • In-depth knowledge of employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k), FSA/HSA, etc.) and all federal and state regulations that coincide, including, but not limited to, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, Section 125, ACA, Social Security, and DOL requirements
  • Proficiency in HR technology and data analytics. Paylocity experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of payroll processes as they relate to benefit premiums and employer contributions
  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Ability to prioritize workload, multitask, and work under pressure in a demanding environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Maintain confidentiality
