Description

Role: Senior BI Architect Location: Gurgaon/Pune Overview We are seeking a Business Intelligence Architect with 10+ years of experience to design and lead enterprise BI and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Power BI, Tableau, modern data platforms, and insurance domain knowledge, along with strong capabilities in data governance and BI strategy. --- Key Responsibilities · Lead enterprise BI architecture, dashboards, and visualization frameworks using Power BI and Tableau. · Define and drive BI strategy, partnering with stakeholders to translate insurance data (policy, claims, underwriting, premiums, loss ratios) into actionable insights. · Design and optimize data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, and semantic layers for scalable analytics. · Work with Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse/Warehouse), and modern cloud platforms. · Develop advanced DAX, Power Query (M), SQL, and Python-based data solutions. · Implement and enforce data governance, data quality, security, and metadata management standards. · Enable self-service BI and automate workflows using Power Automate. · Establish CI/CD pipelines, deployment standards, and ensure performance optimization. · Collaborate with data engineering teams and troubleshoot BI performance and data issues. · Mentor BI developers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices. --- Required Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field. · 10+ years of BI/analytics experience with strong expertise in: o Power BI (DAX, Power Query, semantic models) o Tableau o SQL and data modeling · Experience with Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, and ETL/ELT processes. · Proficiency in Python for data processing/automation. · Strong understanding of data governance and enterprise BI architecture. · Insurance domain experience is required. --- Preferred Skills · Experience with Azure/cloud platforms · Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps in BI · Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
