JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Master’s degree in informatics, computer science, finance, (applied) mathematics, econometrics, or any other technology related field.
  • Very good knowledge of Power BI is a must.
  • Experience as Excel/VBA developer in a business environment and/or functional area including practical experience in the reporting optimization/automation.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft suite (Azure/SQL/Access/etc.).
  • Feeling comfortable with financial concepts, understanding mechanics of main financial reports (P&L, BS, OPEX, CAPEX) within FP&A environment.
  • Understanding reporting processes/standards, role of FP&A in the organization, ability to explain in to others and propose/implement changes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including articulating recommendations in a concise, timely manner and giving constructive feedback.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Supporting FP&A, finance and business in terms of producing reports, their development, optimization and harmonization according to requirements. Mentoring other team members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generating static reports during MEC with agreed frequency, delivering them on time to defined end users basing on SOP’s/work instructions/L&F standards. Creating the SOP’s/work instructions.
  • Understanding data, proactively identifying the missing or wrong pieces, collaborating on fixing it, actively proposing and implementing the preventive measures.
  • Proactively taking care of providing end users with the proper access rights to the information they may or should access and helping them to understand the reports.
  • Handling and challenging requests from business to improve and modify existing reports and dashboards or create new reports. Estimating the efforts.
  • Gathering, analyzing and challenging finance/business requirements and expectations towards desired reporting and visualizations.
  • Designing and developing reports within Microsoft Excel, VBA, BI solutions (PBI, SAC) and SQL/T-SQL where needed basing on the established reporting standards.
  • Optimization/automation and harmonization of reports. Improving reporting process to reduce the workload and/or throughput time and increase level of support delivered in the company. Providing support and mentoring to other team members.
