QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree typically in computer science, mathematics, HIM, analytics, statistics, or relevant associated course work or 4 years equivalent BI work experience
  • Preferred: Experience with BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau.
  • Preferred: Experience with report writing tools such as Microsoft SSRS, Business Objects, Cognos, etc.
  • Preferred Experience of Structured Query Language Programming and a deep understanding of relational databases.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding data governance, data quality, and data management best practices.
  • Ability to plan and manage simultaneous tasks and projects.
  • High degree of professionalism, enthusiasm, and initiative.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment is a must.
  • Experience working with minimal direction and the keen ability to leverage business sense to guide decision making next slide healthcare experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • SQL Development, SSIS, Strong communication and presentation skills, Specification gathering, Lead projects, mentor and share knowledge.Example of Tasks Include:


    • Peer Review of code

    • Building and scheduling SSIS packages
    • Support and development of extract builds/files
    • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements and translate them into technical requirements, visualization, and interactive reports.
    • Create and maintain technical documentation. Document BI solutions, including data models, ETL processes, technical specifications, and end-user documentation.
    • Troubleshoot and debug BI solutions to ensure smooth operations and accurate data.
    • Assist with Dashboard design and architecture and understanding data models to convert raw data to meaningful insights. Make recommendations based on needs / wants.
    • Create and maintain and support all BI solutions (i.e., Data marts, dashboards, and views) performance monitoring, measurement, forecast, and ongoing process improvement.
    • Manage tasks and timelines related to assigned work.
    • As a senior member of the team, you will be mentor, coach, and assist other team members as needed.
    • Take ownership of a project and have the ability to distribute tasks to team members and meet milestone completion. Update all project management and time tracking tools accordingly.
    • Work as a mentor when needed.
    • Take the initiative to provide guidance and direction on data analytics and make recommendations to streamline processes and provide the best visualization to meet end user needs.
