JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior BI Developer with deep expertise in Power BI and IBM Cognos. This role is ideal for a data-driven professional who excels in translating business needs into actionable insights through interactive dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in data modeling, transformation, and visualization using Power BI, while also maintaining and enhancing legacy reporting in Cognos. This is a hybrid role that requires strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models using DAX and Power Query
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into effective BI solutions
• Migrate and modernize existing reports from Cognos to Power BI where appropriate
• Maintain and enhance existing IBM Cognos reports in both development and production environments
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance across all reporting solutions
• Utilize Power BI Service for sharing, publishing, and collaborating on reports and dashboards
• Create and optimize SQL queries for data analysis and reporting
• Work with multi-dimensional and relational data structures
• Stay up to date with BI best practices, tools, and industry trends
• Support end-to-end BI project lifecycles, from requirements gathering through deployment and maintenance.

  Pay: $38.00 - $43.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 40 per week
