The Role
Robert Bird Group is seeking a skilled and driven Senior Bid Engineer to join our team in Dubai, UAE. This role is essential to supporting our growth in the region, taking a lead role in preparing high-quality, winning technical and commercial proposals across a wide range of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of bid and tender submissions for engineering and infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate inputs from internal technical teams, commercial, legal, and executive stakeholders to ensure cohesive and compliant proposals.
• Develop winning strategies, value propositions, and client-focused messaging for bids.
• Monitor tender portals, manage bid schedules, and ensure submissions are completed on time and to the highest standard.
• Maintain and update bid libraries, project profiles, and credentials databases.
• Drive improvements in bid processes, tools, and templates, contributing to operational efficiency and quality outcomes.
• Support client presentations and post-submission activities where required.

About You

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

• 10 years of experience in bid coordination or tender engineering within the consulting engineering or construction sectors.
• A solid understanding of the structural and civil engineering industry, with experience in the Middle East region preferred.
• Excellent communication and proposal writing skills, with an eye for detail and quality.
• Proven ability to manage complex bids with multiple stakeholders under tight timelines.
• High proficiency in MS Office; experience with InDesign or other bid-related tools is advantageous.
• A degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
