Join our dynamic and multidisciplinary Water Team as a Senior CAD Technician! We are looking for a passionate individual with Civil 3D and/or Revit experience to contribute to the delivery of high-quality technical drawings and models across a range of infrastructure projects. You will be based in our fantastic Glasgow office, whilst also taking advantage of our flexible hybrid working model. Here’s what you’ll do: Digital Delivery: Responsible for developing design outputs from initial concepts through to fully detailed design deliverables. Utilise Digital Tools: Encourage the use of digital tools to review, influence, and enhance design quality processes. Champion BIM: Promote, articulate, and lead BIM behaviours on the projects. Coordinate Project Deliverables: Support coordination of deliverables for multiple projects, ensuring completion within budget. Provide support and management of project resources to facilitate production of deliverables. Team Relationship: Be proactive in relationships with internal project stakeholders, reporting progress or highlighting any technical issues for timely resolution. Maintain Standards: Support the CAD Lead in maintaining CAD standards, best practices, and processes for modelling, content creation, and advanced digital developments. Design Team Meetings: Actively participate and input to design team meetings, bringing with you a digital by default mindset, championing the use of 3D model reviews and markups. Mentor Junior Technicians: Work across the Scotland offices supporting junior Revit Technicians, from a technical perspective. Enjoy the Perks. Qualifications Ready to push the limits of what’s possible? Here’s what we’re looking for: Certified minimum of HND or Equivalent in an engineering discipline, e.g. Civil or Structural Engineering. Project Information Delivery: Experience in delivering project information in accordance with BIM standards. Software Proficiency: Proficient in using Civil 3D or Revit, with experience in validating and coordinating models in Navisworks or similar software. Experience working in a Common Data Environment such as ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar.
