This role is ideally suited for a proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative professional with a passion for innovation in digital engineering and design technologies.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Proven leadership in managing interdisciplinary teams, overseeing federated model coordination, point cloud processing, and BIM delivery at all project stages.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a BIM coordination or similar digital design role within the AEC industry.
  • BIM Expertise: ISO 19650 delivery, model federation, BEP/TIDP authoring, scan-to-BIM workflows, 4D/5D model development, and CDE management.
  • Software Proficiency including:
  • Autodesk AEC Suite (Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, AutoCAD),
  • Unreal Engine, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Point cloud tools (e.g., Recap, Faro Scene),
  • PHPP, One Click LCA and/or other sustainability software
  • Office 365, cloud CDEs (e.g., BIM360/ACC, ProjectWise)
  • Digital Innovation: Experience in Digital Twin implementation, VR modelling, gamification, and immersive public consultation platforms.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 19650 and related digital delivery standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while maintaining high-quality outputs.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in a collaborative environment.
  • Familiarity with construction workflows and an understanding of the project lifecycle from design through to operation.
  • Advantageous: experience with 4D/5D planning, Dynamo scripting, GIS integration, or programming/scripting (Python, C#).

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC) Management, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant BIM certifications (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional, BRE (Other) BIM Certification/s, ISO 19650 training) are desirable.
  • Membership or working toward membership of a professional institution (e.g., ICE, RICS, Engineers Ireland, CIAT) is advantageous.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the deployment of BIM and digital design workflows on major infrastructure, transport, healthcare, and utility projects, ensuring compliance with ISO 19650 standards.
  • Manage the implementation and coordination of Common Data Environments (CDE), supporting consistent information exchange and model integrity.
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary BIM teams across global projects, ensuring federated models are accurate, clash-free, and meet delivery milestones.
  • Support creation and validation of existing conditions models from point cloud data and ensure interoperability between scan-to-BIM and design systems.
  • Organise and lead BIM/digital workshops with stakeholders and clients in Ireland, fostering collaboration and digital innovation.
  • Deliver visualisation outputs including 3D models, animations, virtual reality environments, and Digital Twin systems to support design, planning, and public engagement.
  • Develop and support virtual public consultation platforms across a range of infrastructure and building projects, enhancing community input using immersive technology.
