Description

We are a small accountancy practice based in Sevenoaks, Kent.
They have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper clerk to join this small, friendly team to take care of a set number of clients. The successful candidate must be qualified to level 4 ICB or AAT level 4.
Reporting into the business owner, the role is currently 20 hours a week, which could be carried out over 2-3 days a week to best suit the right candidate. This position is offered on a self-employed basis, with the flexibility to work from home or in the office.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

· Level 4 ICB or AAT level 4 qualified
· Experience of using Xero accounting software a MUST

· Proficient in all Microsoft applications, especially Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Ability to prioritise and plan own workload
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisational skills

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Pay: £21.00-£22.00 per hour

· Quarterly VAT returns
· Data entry up to accounts preparation and completion
. Communications with clients
· Completion and calculations of self assessments
· Corporation Tax returns
· Companies House reporting i.e. filing of all types of accounts
· Filing of annual returns
. Filing on annual charity accounts
· Bank reconciliations with multi-currencies
· Payroll
· Dividend and salary calculations
· Manual payment processing/including PAYE and NI
· Manual payment to client’s suppliers
· Monthly Pension filing
· Monthly report requirements from clients e.g. cashflow forecast, management accounts
