Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, overseeing bookkeeping, payroll processing, and related services
  • Prepare and lodge BAS and other statutory returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Review BAS returns prepared by junior staff, providing feedback and support as needed
  • Prepare and lodge fortnightly payroll, along with monthly and annual payroll tax returns, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations
  • Prepare end-of-year income statement lodgements for clients
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations and prepare financial statements for client portfolios
  • Complete bookkeeping duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and data processing
  • Generate monthly and quarterly client reports using accounting software (Fathom/ Syft)
  • Provide support and assistance to the Head of Bookkeeping on various projects and initiatives.
  • Utilise accounting software to prepare management reports for clients
  • Work in tandem with Client Directors, Senior Managers and Partners and the broader team on projects to drive success for Kelly+Partners
  • Partake in company events, training sessions as well as team meetings
