Description

Our client is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper/Payroll to join their accounting practice. This is a Direct Hire role with potential for growth in the firm.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have 2+ years’ bookkeeping experience in a public accounting practice
  • Able to work 100% onsite
  • Quickbooks and QBO experience is required
  • Must have a solid grasp of accounting principles
  • Excellent accuracy, communication and organizational skills
  • Assets: Sage, Certified Bookkeeper, T1 and T2 experience, Payroll experience/certifications
Responsibilities
  • Full cycle bookkeeping and payroll for various clients and industries
  • Preparation and analysis of financial reports, payroll and monthly payroll remittances
  • Preparation of client bank reconciliations
  • GST/HST, WSIB returns and electronic filing
  • Maintain and prepare year-end documents for corporate filings
  • Customer service to clients
  • Other duties as assigned
