ABOUT THE POSITION
The Senior Bookkeeper provides full cycle bookkeeping. This is not an entry level position. It is a unique, fast-paced, challenging position. We are looking for candidates that possess a very specific skill set and a desire to grow in a position where they’ll never be bored. While training related to specifics on each client will be provided, you’ll need a full understanding of the accounting cycle and extensive hands-on experience with QuickBooks (both desktop and online) prior to joining our team. Xero experience a plus.
This position may also assist with quality control reviews for bookkeeping completed by junior bookkeepers. This role offers flexible hours with both full and part-time hours available.

· Collect, organize, and save source documents
· Record transactions and reconcile accounts each month
· Monthly review of financial statements for accuracy and consistency
· Record any necessary accruals
· Communication with clients via client portal
· Generate and deliver regular reports as outlined
· Complete additional services requested on a per client basis
· Complete and make updates to tasks in project management system
· Manage all year-end tasks, including communications with CPA
· Work efficiently to meet client expectations and maintain quality deliverables
· Make recommendations to Lead Bookkeeper for corrections, reclassifications, and any updates to processes to increase efficiency
