THE POSITION We are looking for an exquisitely skilled design leader and communicator, as comfortable down in the details as you are with a 1000-foot view. As VaxCare’s Senior Designer you’ll help build, extend, and refine our visual brand, driving and enhancing projects large and small that help us deliver on our mission. You are a strong design generalist with an impeccable eye for typography and layout, the ability to collaborate with professionals across multiple disciplines, and a sophisticated sense of how to distill complex ideas into simple, powerful visual communication. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES As part of a highly adaptive team, our Brand designers are expected to be torchbearers for our evolving visual identity. This means not only working within the parameters of the design language, but also working tirelessly to move it forward, seeking new ways to express the ideas at the core our brand through meaningful and beautiful graphic expression.   • Work with teams across the organization to craft best-in-class branded experiences and collateral in digital, print, web, and motion formats • Collaborate with other designers, copywriters, specialized teams, and executives to help us evolve our brand experience, and its relationship to the company’s mission • Clearly communicate your design work and negotiate future direction with peers, design leaders, cross-discipline teams, and executives • Handle an ever-evolving workload • Set and manage key stakeholder expectations • Explore a variety of design directions in a rapid iterative fashion • Educate and advocate for design and conceptual cohesiveness across brand, marketing, product, and content • Identify and evangelize for injecting moments of joy into our communications, product, and culture REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS * Minimum of 4 years experience in brand design, editorial design, or related areas * Extensive graphic design foundation (typography, color theory, layout, motion, etc.) * Ability to balance individual design work with strategic planning and developing broader visual systems * Proficient at creating production-ready artwork and assets * Able to work creatively within a visual brand language while expanding and refining the system with each new project * Exceptional communication skills, facility with brand language/copy * Highly responsive, adaptable, and able to succeed in a low-ego and collaborative environment * Proficiency with leading design software (e.g., Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.) and Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Word, etc.) * Pluses: Illustration, motion graphics, copywriting, photography art direction COMPENTENCIES: Core to all positions at VaxCare We Live (and Work) by Our Values: - Building a team culture founded on trust, collaboration, and delivery excellence - Belief in Something Bigger than Ourselves – Capacity to derive meaning from a larger purpose - Humility as a Posture of Learning – Burning curiosity to learn without ego - Adaptability & Embracing Change – Nimbleness & ready to seize new opportunities Additional “Must Haves”: - Dependability – Must be able to meet deadlines, work independently, maintain focus, & punctual - Interpersonal Skills – Builds strong relationships & contributes to a positive work environment. - Computer Skills – Skilled with computers, learns new tools quickly. - Ethics – Honest, accountable, maintains confidentiality. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES * Remote Work Requirements:  * Must be able to perform job duties independently with minimal supervision. * Must have private, distraction -free workspace suitable for confidential and focused work. * Must have reliable high-speed internet to support video conferencing and regular computer use. * Must be comfortable being on camera for Microsoft Teams meetings/video conference calls. * Must be willing & able to travel on-site in Orlando, Florida at least 2x per year.  (Travel expenses reimbursed by VaxCare) * Prolonged sitting or standing: Team members must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods, as much of the work involves sitting at a computer or workstation.
