Be based in either Sydney, or Melbourne in this hybrid opportunity 7 Month Fixed Term position As the Senior Brand Manager for Spirits & RTDs you will lead portfolio planning and develop strategic plans, innovation and NPD within the Spirits portfolio. This includes building portfolio and brand plans to build performance and drive equity for the Pinnacle Drinks owned and exclusive brands. You’ll be required to lead the portfolio strategy - across customer, category, segment, NPD and brand thinking. This includes developing brand plans and innovation based on analysis of category, customer, and brand performance. The role is key in planning launches, promotions, advertising, PR, and events, in alignment with the Head of Marketing’s strategic direction. The Senior Brand Manager also tracks results, conducts ad hoc consumer research, and manages ongoing internal communications with key stakeholders. With support of your direct report you will develop and execute annual brand and activation plans for owned and exclusive partner brands to boost performance and equity of Pinnacle Drinks brands. Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role: Strategically lead, guide, develop, and empower your direct report. Channel & content planning for each brand within your portfolio. Use data driven insights to form strategic decisions and campaign development Lead portfolio development by working with the retail brand teams, Sourcing and Business Development teams to deliver NPD and brand refreshes aligned to category pillars Lead the development of new product concepts aligned to market opportunities and customer needs and drive product development from conceptualisation to launch Work collaboratively with internal Business Teams to deliver input and sign-off on new product launches Lead and implement successful product launches by working with the Business Development and Sourcing teams to manage NPD communication to all channels. Lead the marketing for our export brands including developing the brand portfolio for key international markets and distributors Become an expert on the market, consumers, customers & competitors. Build great relationships with external agency partners, internal stakeholders in marketing and commercial functions, and International teams. Financial management including management of budgets, building annual budgets, cost optimisation, accounts, quotations and reconciliations. Qualifications Now let’s talk about you: A real passion for the drinks business 5–7 years of leadership and hands-on experience within the spirits category, with a deep understanding of consumer behavior, competitive landscape, and market dynamics. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and act independently to drive brand-specific objectives using deep category expertise. Strong understanding of the Spirits market landscape, including customer segmentation, product dynamics, and evolving consumer trends and needs. Proven experience in building successful spirits brands and executing effective supporting activities, such as PR, content creation, and merchandising. Skilled in developing brand architecture and leading new product development (NPD) initiatives within the Spirits category. Strong leadership presence in category management, with the ability to align and influence a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a consistent track record of influencing outcomes across multiple teams. Highly self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management capabilities. Commercially minded, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes through brand performance, portfolio growth, and equity development. Creative approach to brand planning, from concept development to campaign execution, aligned with strategic goals. Experienced in customer analysis, market research, and above-the-line (ATL) marketing execution.
