Job Introduction
If you have a strong background in managing and developing brands in a large organisation, we want to hear from you!
Our Marketing and Brand team is seeking a Senior Brand Officer, until December 2027, to play a pivotal role in shaping, protecting, and elevating the reputation and identity of the West Midlands Combined Authority. You will lead the development and delivery of brand strategies that drive consistency, build recognition, and foster trust across all audiences—including the public, partners, and stakeholders.
This is a diverse and dynamic role where you’ll contribute to high-profile projects, including supporting the development of a brand identity for a new franchised bus network, whilst also championing the region’s growth narrative across jobs, housing, and skills.
Collaborating with senior leaders, teams across the organisation and external partners, you will be responsible for upholding brand integrity across all channels. Leveraging insight, creativity, and innovation, you will ensure our brand aligns to the West Midlands Combined Authority’s objectives – reflecting our values, supporting key service delivery objectives, and connecting meaningfully with our diverse communities.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape a brand-new role at the forefront of big change for the organisation. You’ll use your brand expertise to craft a consistent narrative while providing mentorship and guidance to the wider team.
