Job Description We are currently recruiting a Senior Bridges Engineer for in-house structural design of a wide variety of projects, including, but not limited to, bridges and viaducts; earth retaining structures, underground structures; culverts and building structures, to join our busy and expanding experienced team. The team provides assessment, concept, feasibility, preliminary and detailed designs on a wide range of projects. Our group has an established track record of successfully delivering bridge engineering design for many years, throughout the USA and Australia, not to mention Canada or Middle East. You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic Transportation projects, being part of a diverse and multicultural team. It can be a great opportunity for a CAD Technician that wants to boost his/her professional career on structural drafting. Responsibilities: · Participate in the bridge and other structural design for various transportation infrastructure projects. · You will make sure that the projects assigned to you will be executed in accordance with our quality system. · Enhance an integrated design process by looking transversally over the different disciplines involved. · Respond to the wishes and needs of the client. · Keep up with the standards, guidelines and new techniques and developments in your discipline and report these to your team members or colleagues. · Work together with colleagues, external partners (such as architects, piping, mechanical and other design disciplines) and clients in a constructive way. Qualifications Requirements: You are a qualified Bridges/Structural Engineer. You hold an already obtained Bachelor Degree, in the domain. You have at least 6 years of relevant technical experience with structural engineering projects in modeling and designing different types of concrete or steel bridge structures. You were involved in rail or road/highway bridge projects. Projects located outside Romania are an advantage. You were involved in all aspects and phases of your projects. You have expertise in using CAD and engineering software. You have good communication skills. High proficiency in English reading, writing and speaking.
