You will partner with departments and leadership to develop budgets, monitor financial performance, and provide data-driven recommendations that shape how resources are allocated across the organization. You will play a key role in identifying trends, solving complex fiscal challenges, and improving financial processes. This role offers the opportunity to influence countywide operations while serving as a trusted advisor and subject     Summary of Job Duties: * Analyzes departmental budget requests, financial plans, and expenditure patterns. * Collaborates with departments to evaluate budget needs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure alignment with county priorities. * Develops and supports the County Administrator’s Recommended Budget. * Analyzes financial statements, expenditure activity, and budget performance to monitor spending and identify trends, risks, and variances; collaborates with departments and leadership to address fiscal issues and ensure alignment with budget plans. * Oversees and supports fiscal transaction processes across departments to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with approved budgets. * Develops and prepares financial reports, summaries, and analyses to support budget development, monitoring, and decision-making; analyzes financial data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability of reporting; interprets data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities; Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, public administration, or a closely related field. * Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in budgeting, financial analysis, accounting, or public sector fiscal operations. * Or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience Work Location and Hours: * 138 E.
