Senior Building Automation Technician Responsibilities: Responsible for the execution/installation of building automation projects. Develops and executes small retrofit and upgrade projects, while maintaining a universal technical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot BMS/BAS service-related calls. Demonstrates knowledge in the commercial HVAC sequence of operation, basic computer knowledge, and building construction operations. Responsible for system designs, installation, programming, commissioning, and operational verification. Works with a Field Supervisor and Project Manager to schedule and complete tasks in a timely manner. Mentors and teaches other technicians. Follow safety requirements as outlined GUNTHERS. Maintain complete and accurate documentation of services performed and generates reports Provides exceptional customer service. Completes any additional tasks as outlined by supervisors. Senior Building Automation Technician Qualifications: 5+ years of experience required. Expert with Commercial Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems including the various components and processes. (Service background preferred). Proficient understanding of computers, electronics, and electrical circuits and how they work together. Knowledge of building automation systems, PLCs, HVAC, electrical concepts, and building operations. Engineering and programming (PLC or BMS) background helpful. Tridium N4 Certification Preferred. Ability and willingness to work in a variety of circumstances. Follows GUNTHERS dress and appearance standards. GUNTHERS is a smoke-free and drug-free environment; no smoking or vaping.
