Requirements Key Skills and Abilities Needed to Succeed in This Role: 8-9 years of experience in building maintenance and engineering, with a focus on multifamily properties. Advanced knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, fire safety, and structural components. Relevant certifications (e.g., NFPA 25, EPA 608) are a plus. Proven experience in managing and leading a team of maintenance professionals. In-depth knowledge of OSHA safety regulations. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong leadership, mentoring, and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and oversee budget and expenses. Valid driver's license with no major infractions in the last 12 months.
