We’re looking for an experienced Senior Building Validator to join our team. In this role, you’ll assess building claims, validate scopes and repair costs, and ensure contractors deliver work that meets our technical, compliance and service standards. You’ll work closely with insurers, contractors and policyholders to achieve fair, accurate and timely outcomes.   Why Join Crawford? * Supportive and professional team environment * Variety of residential and commercial claims work * Opportunity to grow your technical and leadership skills * Make a real impact by helping deliver quality repair outcomes   What You’ll Be Doing * Review and validate building claims, repair scopes and costs * Ensure claims are managed in line with policy coverage and SLAs * Prepare detailed scopes of work and repair schedules when needed * Manage builders and suppliers through the Contractor Connection system * Produce clear, accurate reports and settlement recommendations * Support Adjusters with claim-related queries * Monitor contractor performance and work progress * Conduct audits and peer reviews for junior Validators * Assist with onboarding and mentoring new team members   What We’re Looking For * Strong and demonstrable experience in building validation, estimating or repair scoping * Strong knowledge of domestic and commercial building repairs * Cert IV in Building & Construction minimum * Trade background with estimating or supervisory experience preferred * Strong report writing, communication and customer service skills * Confident using online systems and technology * Great attention to detail and problem-solving ability * Able to work independently while contributing to a team environment * Master Builders Licence or similar is a bonus   Additional information * Employment is subject to a national police check  * Applicants must be Australian or New Zealand citizens or permanent residents    Ready to take the next step?
