Description

Responsibilities Manage maintenance on MTR Buses in accordance with maintenance standards and schedule; and within budgeted costs so as to provide safe, reliable and effective bus service and to ensure the compliance to operational objectives Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities in order to ensure bus service performance and availability Prevent repetitive failure and control the recurrent expenses by regular reviews of maintenance content and practices Carry out engineering projects for enhancement of bus services and maintenance efficiency, plan and implement modification works, purchase and install major plant facilities and equipment Maintain and monitor the performance of maintenance staff by providing adequate and relevant training, frequent communication, timely feedback and appropriate performance tracking Ensure effective and efficient emergency rescue works for buses safely and promptly by reviewing the performance of rescue team and rescue equipment and facilitating regular drills Manage contract out maintenance, repair and miscellaneous services for bus by preparation of technical specification, contract document and performing evaluation Requirements Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline A minimum of 8 years' relevant experience, of which 2 years should be at supervisory level Possession of Corporate Membership of a recognised professional institution is preferrable Applications You are invited to apply online via https://careers.mtr.com.hk/careersection/mtr_external/joblist.ftl?lang=en or send in your CV stating the position (with reference number) you are applying for by mail to Human Resource Management Department, MTR Corporation, G.P.O.
