Are you a seasoned sales professional with a robust understanding of the retail sector? Do you possess exceptional negotiation skills and a passion for driving growth in high street accounts? We are looking for a dynamic Senior Business Account Manager to join our Sales team.
As a Senior Business Account Manager, you will take full responsibility for managing and controlling our business within high street accounts, ensuring the highest level of company profile and profitability. Reporting to the Business Sector Controller, you will be tasked with developing and implementing strategic account plans, forecasting volumes, and managing trade pricing and promotional funding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Oversee and manage company operations within assigned high street accounts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Promotional Planning: Prepare and execute promotional strategies within budget constraints to maximize account potential.
  • Volume Forecasting: Produce accurate volume forecasts for each account, contributing to the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle.
  • Negotiations & Relationships: Conduct face-to-face meetings and negotiations with major account contacts, building multi-level relationships.
  • P&L Responsibility: Assume full responsibility for P&L within assigned accounts, preparing quarterly and annual budgets for presentation.
  • Data Management: Maintain confidentiality of company data and ensure all company equipment is well-maintained.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the retail sectors and trading environments, with a proven track record in trade marketing and category management. You will be proficient in Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and possess a strong knowledge of internet-based systems, EPOS, and customer listing and promotional systems. Analytical skills are essential, with a good understanding of financial management and the components of a P&L. You should excel in negotiation and have strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain senior-level customer relationships. You will be able to showcase your capability to manage complex accounts and drive transformation within high street environments. A degree-level education is desirable.
Working hours are 37 per week: Monday – Thursday 9-5pm and Friday 9-4:30pm.
