* 2x Temporary roles to June 2028 & June 2030 * Clerk Grade 9/10 Starting at $129,464 + Super & Leave * Open to all NSW locations with a focus on Regional NSW   As a Senior Business Advisor, you will deliver high-level financial and business advisory services across assigned divisions. You’ll play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting and business case development, ensuring strong financial management and enabling strategic outcomes You will also provide expert accounting oversight and ensure the integrity and consistency of financial reporting across the business * Lead end-to-end budgeting, forecasting and financial performance reporting * Deliver clear insights and analysis to support executive decision-making * Provide strategic financial advice including identifying emerging financial risks to senior stakeholders and business leaders * Monitor performance, risks and savings initiatives to drive business outcomes * Build strong partnerships while leading business cases, reporting, and process improvements   About you You are a commercially minded finance professional with strong business partnering experience and the ability to influence at a senior level. You bring: * Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting * Strong analytical and problem-solving capability * Proven ability to translate complex financial information, identify financial risks and exposure and provide into clear insights * Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills * Experience working in a fast-paced, complex environment * A collaborative approach with the ability to lead, guide and support others * Relevant tertiary qualification in accounting, finance or related discipline * Membership (or eligibility) with CPA Australia or Chartered Accountants ANZ, or equivalent experience * Knowledge of financial management frameworks, including public sector requirements (desirable)   DPIRD supports thriving industries and communities across regional NSW.
