JOB SUMMARY:

The Sr. Business Analyst / Business Analyst is responsible for understanding and documenting business scenarios related to the projects within the tax administration framework. The role involves close collaboration with stakeholders to document use cases, gather requirements, and analyze data to support the implementation and optimization of services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or related field
  • Certification such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), PMI-PBA, or equivalent (preferred)
  • Work Experience:

è Senior Business Analyst: +8 years of experience in the role, with a focus on tax administration or financial systems.

  • Experience in Taxation is an advantage (Preferred).
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
  • Languages: Arabic and English(must).
  • Experience on SAP TRM and related technologies (preferred).
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices (e.g., BABOK, Six Sigma, Lean)
  • Proven experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management
  • Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, Visio, SQL, JIRA, Confluence, or similar
  • Experience in Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies
  • Proven experience working in multiple large-scale projects simultaneously
  • Experience in handling communication with external and external stakeholders
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Business Scenario Analysis:
  • Understand and document business process, scenarios within the tax administration context.
  • Develop comprehensive use cases that capture processes and requirements.
  • Identify and document the impact on existing tax administration workflows.
  • Use Case Documentation:
  • Create detailed use case scenarios that outline the steps and interactions involved in business processes.
  • Work with technical teams to ensure that use cases align with system capabilities and limitations.
  • Update and maintain use case documentation to reflect changes in regulations or business processes.
  • Requirements Gathering:
  • Engage with stakeholders to elicit and document business requirements.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Facilitate requirements validation sessions with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Data Analysis:
  • Collect data related to service transactions, user behavior, and system performance.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to communicate insights and support decision-making.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) (preferred)
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including IT and business units, to ensure a cohesive approach to projects.
  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure clear communication of requirements and expectations.
  • Provide support and guidance to stakeholders on best practices and system usage.
