Facilitate, create and excite! Fundamentally transforming the way Australian Banks engage with their customers using Backbase’s Engagement Banking Platform.
You’ll be face to face with customers, engineering and product teams ensuring that the implementation of your team’s tech is seamless.

MEET THE JOB

As a Senior Business Analyst in Customer Success, you will work closely with our customers and the Backbase delivery team to own, drive and ensure success with your customers along their digital transformation journey.
You’ll stay focused on a changing environment consisting of rapid iterative software development, sharp customer feedback, requirements gathering workshops and configuration/customization of the Backbase Engagement Banking Platform.
Bring your A game. You will be collaborating deeply with our customers and teams as we define the future of banking.

In this role you will find yourself doing the following:

  • Act as Product Owner for the project team; guiding them making the right choices to maximise product adoption and customer NPS;
  • Being the Backbase product expert; articulating value, managing customer expectations with sound trade off analysis and driving key decisions which impact features which ultimately go-live;
  • Analysing, capturing and prioritising the requirements by driving key workshops and ongoing ceremonies during the course of the implementation;
  • Deeply collaborating and working side by side with our customers;
  • Owning the functional requirements via use case specifications and user stories;
  • Staying abreast of digital banking trends locally and globally.

If the below sounds like you, then you know what to do:

  • You’re empathetic, customer obsessed and naturally put yourself in someone else’s shoes;
  • You’ve worked 5+ years as a Business Analyst/Product Owner in ideally the Digital Banking / FinTech domain;
  • You are comfortable and familiar working in an Agile environment;
  • You have previous exposure to a healthy SDLC and have experience turning requirements into real working battle ready software;
  • You have working exposure to Digital - applications that people love and use daily;
  • You are familiar with the ins and outs of business process modelling;
  • You’re eager to be part of an international team with and collaborate with colleagues throughout Australia, Asia, Europe and the USA;
  • You know when to end your day and banter with your colleagues.
