Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

You will have a good understanding of the banking or financial services industry and have experience as a Senior Technical Business Analyst or similar role with data management/quality or regulatory reporting experience.

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Experience with critical data identification and management.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand data related regulations and legislation and translate to actionable steps.
  • Demonstrated ability to actively drive the design and technical documentation of data governance policies and processes for technology and business stakeholders.
  • Experience of data warehousing concepts and techniques, querying relational databases and configuring business intelligence tools such as Oracle (OBIEE), and Power BI.
  • Experience in using or configuring Data Governance tools like Collibra, Alex, Experian Aperture Data Studio etc.

In this role you’ll get to…

  • Support process owners with the identification and definition of critical data elements in line with Standards and Guidelines under the Data Governance Framework.
  • Undertake detailed analysis of critical data to support the documentation of business and technical data flows.
  • Identify opportunities for business stakeholders and Customer and Data Enablement services to re-use existing capabilities and continuously improve data delivery methods and data management practices.
  • Register and maintain identified critical data and related assets in Collibra.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce and remediate data quality issues.
  • Enable the Data Governance initiatives to meet schedule, business and budget objectives.
  • Work through the assigned tasks, to ensure efficient completion and achieve successful outcomes for the business and data risk functions
