Description

AT CANCER RESEARCH UK, WE EXIST TO BEAT CANCER.

We are professionals with purpose, beating cancer every day. But we need to go much further and much faster. That’s why we’re looking for someone talented, someone who wants to develop their skills, someone like you.
Cancer Research UK has a vision to bring about a world where everybody can lead longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer. However, to achieve our mission and grow our funding, we must build even greater momentum and urgency around our cause, and engage and inspire millions of people in deeper, more meaningful ways to join our mission. Therefore, we have created a long-term Engage Strategy and designed a bold transformation programme which aims to better harness data and digital marketing technology to deliver more relevant, trusted, and frictionless experiences for our audiences (and in turn drive growth).
We are recruiting for a Senior Business Analyst to join one of the crucial workstreams of our Engage Transformation Programme: our migration to Salesforce, set to go live next year. In this role, you’ll bridge the gap between our technology teams and the wider organisation—ensuring we unlock the full potential of Salesforce to deliver operational transformation, effective change management, and an outstanding employee experience that enables us to be an inclusive, well-governed, agile, and sustainable organisation.
You’ll be responsible for accurately analysing, capturing, and validating Salesforce requirements; identifying and assessing highly beneficial solutions; and providing analysis expertise to shape and deliver technical solutions and outcomes. As we progress with our CRM migration, you’ll play a key role in supporting UAT testing and go-live activities, leading the post-go-live discovery period, and delivering hypercare, change support, workshops, and stakeholder engagement. You’ll partner and collaborate closely with stakeholders, influencing across all levels of the organisation to ensure alignment with the underlying Salesforce needs of the charity and its strategic direction.
If you are an experienced Salesforce Business Analyst who has worked in medium to large multi-product businesses with a large IT function or within a large IT agency/consultancy, we would love for you to join our mission.

WHAT SKILLS WILL I NEED?

  • Experienced Business Analyst with Salesforce experience in medium to large multi-product businesses or within a large IT agency/consultancy.
  • Experience migrating to Salesforce and/ or knowledge of Non-Profit Cloud is desirable but not essential—we welcome applicants without this experience.
  • Managed multiple workstreams/ products and priorities with a background in dealing with complexity and identifying potential dependencies and risks.
  • Strong understanding and experience in business analysis skills, techniques, and practices (including designing and facilitating workshops).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management with a proven ability to understand stakeholder needs and influence decision-making at all levels within various contexts.
  • Advanced experience in process and data modelling, and process improvement.
  • Evidence of problem-solving with an ability to simplify complex problems into components and evaluate systematically to provide creative solutions.
  • Commercially minded with an understanding of what Cancer Research UK is trying to achieve and the role of Delivery teams in delivering these ambitions.
Our organisation values are designed to guide all that we do.
Bold: Act with ambition, courage and determination
Credible: Act with rigour and professionalism
Human : Act to have a positive impact on people
    Together: Act inclusively and collaboratively
We’re looking for people who can believe in and embody these organisation values and can use them to drive forward progress against our mission to beat cancer.
If you’re interested in applying and excited about working with us but are unsure if you have the right skills and experience we’d still love to hear from you.
