Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be gathering and analysing technical and non-technical business requirements in business processes and systems, through requirements elicitation, solutions identification, risk analysis and collaboration.
You will work with Product Owners and cross functional squads to deliver set sprint outcomes, including elaborating and writing user stories, defining user acceptance test cases, supporting squad delivery and test execution, and creating documentation.
The role will initially be within Property Workplace Systems with the focus on streamlining BAU operational processes, and defining and building out new features and enhancements to ensure CBA stays leading edge in Workplace experience technology.

YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to elicit, analyse, communicate, validate, and manage requirements for changes to systems, business processes and data.
  • Analyse and document business/functional processes and requirements using standard analysis methodologies and tools.
  • Convert business needs into deliverable squad user stories using knowledge of system capabilities, rules, and architecture, and work with external vendors to deliver.
  • Create test plans and user acceptance test cases, and support test execution. Optimising testing by working with QA engineers for automation where possible.
  • Identify project delivery issues and risks, assist with mitigation strategies, and escalate where necessary.
  • Work closely with stakeholders and change management to identify impacts to business processes because of system or application changes.


    • Evaluate effectiveness of crew tools, processes, and methodologies, and make recommendations for continuous improvement and optimize processes and operations

    • Liaise and collaborate with delivery squads and stakeholders as required.
