About the Opportunity

We're partnering with a leading London-based consultancy to recruit an experienced Senior Business Analyst for a major transformation programme with a prominent London Market insurance broker.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst who combines strong stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering expertise with deep London Market insurance knowledge, particularly across underwriting operations and insurance data flows.

You'll play a key role in delivering business and technology change initiatives, working closely with underwriting teams, operations, product owners, data specialists, and senior business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery, requirements gathering and business analysis activities across strategic change initiatives.
  • Work closely with underwriting, broking and operational teams to understand current-state processes and define future-state solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Document business requirements, process maps, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Analyse and document end-to-end business processes and data flows.
  • Support solution design by ensuring business requirements are clearly understood and translated into deliverable outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains and enhanced data quality.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Experience

We are seeking a proven Business Analyst with significant London Market insurance experience, ideally gained through work with brokers, insurers, Lloyd's syndicates or London Market consulting engagements.

Strong London Market knowledge across areas such as:

  • Underwriting processes and workflows
  • Risk submission and quote management
  • Policy administration
  • Delegated Authority / Coverholder business
  • Lloyd's market processes
  • Placement lifecycle
  • Renewal processes
  • Premium processing
  • Endorsements
  • Bordereaux management
  • Claims interaction with underwriting functions
