The Business Analyst will serve as a strategic link between business stakeholders and technical teams. This role requires strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements. The ideal candidate will be adept at process analysis, requirements management, and stakeholder communication, with proven experience in leading mid-to-large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering & Documentation:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and validate requirements.
  • Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and detailed process flows.
  • Maintain and update business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and use cases.
  • Business Process Analysis:
  • Analyze existing business processes, identify gaps, and propose scalable solutions.
  • Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, and project status meetings.
  • Manage expectations and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Project Support:
  • Work with project managers, developers, QA teams, and product owners to ensure timely delivery.
  • Support test planning and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Provide ongoing post-implementation support and feedback.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
  • Use data-driven insights to support business cases and decision-making.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Experience: 5–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in IT services, consulting, or product development environments.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Balsamiq, Lucidchart, or similar.
  • Knowledge of SQL, data analysis, or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Core Competencies:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
