Description
As a Senior Business Analyst in Falck’s Data, Insights & AI department, you are the key link between the business and our technology. You turn complex business challenges into data- and AI-enabled solutions, drive discovery and value framing, and ensure that what we build delivers measurable impact for Falck’s customers, patients, and operations. You will work across Business Units and teams, shaping how we use data, analytics, automation, and AI to advance sustainable healthcare and emergency response. We are looking for a T-shaped profile – someone with deep expertise in business analysis who is also continuously expanding their skills across data, analytics, and AI as technologies and ways of working evolve. You will join a growing community of 60+ data and AI professionals in Copenhagen and Warsaw. Your focus is to find the right problems, define the right solutions, and ensure they are adopted and deliver value.  Your main responsibilities will involve: * Identifying and framing high-impact business problems where data, analytics, automation, and AI can create strategic value as well as looking beyond the initial request to understand the underlying business need, challenge assumptions, and reframe problems to maximize value. * Building ROI-based business cases: articulate expected costs, benefits, and risks; quantify value (e.g., revenue uplift, cost savings, efficiency, quality, experience). * Acting as a trusted business partner to senior stakeholders across multiple business units. * Facilitating workshops, interviews, and working sessions to align on problems, priorities, and solution options. * Translating business problems into clear, testable requirements (epics, user stories, acceptance criteria) plus translate business concepts into logical and conceptual data models, defining how entities, relationships, measures, and KPIs should be represented in the data platform. * Collaborating daily with Engineers to validate feasibility and data availability, co-design solution approaches, and refine requirements as learning emerges. * Owning the business side of the solution lifecycle – from discovery to adoption: requirements and design, testing and validation, business readiness and go-live, and post-launch optimization. * Leading or coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including designing test cases that match real-world scenarios and edge cases. * Mentoring and support more junior team members, especially colleagues working with business analysis and insights, sharing best practices and providing feedback on complex challenges. * Being recognized as a go-to domain expert in your business area and share lessons learned across teams and projects. ABOUT YOU EXPERIENCE & TRACK RECORD * Several years of experience as a Business Analyst preferably in data, analytics, digital, or AI-driven environments. * Proven track record of delivering measurable business outcomes through applied analytics, automation, or AI initiatives. * Demonstrated experience in end-to-end delivery – from discovery and business case, through requirements and solution design, to testing, deployment, adoption, and benefit tracking. * Solid experience with stakeholder management at senior levels, including navigating conflicting priorities and driving alignment. * Strong problem-structuring and problem-solving skills. * Ability to break down complex challenges into clear, prioritized increments. * Experience writing high-quality user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria. * Ability to convert data into insight narratives that drive decisions. * Familiarity with AI and ML concepts * Work with technical teams on data modelling approaches, helping to shape how business concepts are implemented in our data lakehouse architecture and in dimensional models so analytics and insights are trustworthy and easy to consume. * Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken; ability to make complex and “black box” topics understandable and actionable. * Strong facilitation skills for workshops, interviews, and cross-functional sessions. * Curious and continuously learning – especially about AI, data, and customer behaviour. * Collaborative  – you work in cross-functional groups and share knowledge openly. * Structured and able to manage multiple parallel initiatives without losing sight of detail or big picture.
