SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The role requires the following skills and experience:

  • 7+ years of Business Analysis experience, ideally within the insurance industry, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Experience consulting across multiple projects or customer engagements, with the ability to adapt to varying contexts and team structures.
  • Proficiency in business process modelling, requirements analysis, functional documentation, and stakeholder communication.
  • Working knowledge of agile delivery practices, including user story creation, backlog refinement, and sprint planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and outcome-oriented thinking.
  • Experience validating solutions through functional testing, user acceptance testing, and early feedback cycles.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office, and diagramming tools (e.g. Visio, Lucidchart).
Responsibilities

PURPOSE

The Senior Business Analyst drives successful insurance solution delivery by shaping clear, fit-for-purpose requirements, improving analysis practices, and aligning outcomes with customer and business goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role has the following responsibilities:

  • Delivery successful customer solutions through ownership of end-to-end requirements and functional designs.
  • Build strong and trusted customer relationships by providing leadership and expertise through all stages of the customer lifecycle.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure solutions meet intended outcomes with testable, traceable requirements aligned to customer expectations.
  • Contribute to continual improvement of our business analysis practice through self-development, best practice implementations, and peer support.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures on the handling of personal data, data confidentiality and information security.
