SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST

Candidates will have Department of Justice project experience on large-scale projects, or other public agency experience like DOJ -such as Corrections, Courts, or Prison systems.

EDUCATION:

• It is preferred to have a degree in a related field of study.

• Business Process Analysis: Conduct a thorough analysis of existing business processes, identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Requirement Gathering and Documentation Management: Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear, concise, and functional requirements.
• Must have experience with R4J (Requirements for JIRA) and Atlassian JIRA
• Solution Design and Implementation: Develop and recommend solutions to address identified business problems, including process improvements, technology enhancements, or new system implementations.
• Project Management: Lead and manage business analysis activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring projects stay on track and within scope.
• Communication and Collaboration: Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, facilitating communication and ensuring alignment of project goals.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions and improve performance.
• Team Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior business analysts, providing guidance and support to ensure team success.
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of business strategies and initiatives by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
