LOCATION: LONDON (HYBRID 2 DAYS A WEEK)

Our client a insights consultancy are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with experience in divestment, mergers, or acquisitions to join them on a contract basis. You will be supporting a major divestment by leading Target Operating Model (TOM) development, finance platform separation, data migration, user journey optimization, and testing management. Acting as the bridge between business and IT teams, the role ensures seamless transitions of ERP and reporting systems while minimizing operational disruption.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • 5+ years as a Business Analyst in divestment, mergers, or acquisitions.
  • Expertise in ERP systems (D365, Business Central), data migration, and user experience design.
  • Strong UAT management, test planning, and change impact analysis experience.
  • Superior documentation, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
  • CBAP or similar certifications preferred.
Responsibilities
  • TOM Development: Define and document the future state of business platforms, processes, and organizational structure post-divestment.
  • Finance Platform & Application Separation: Oversee ERP separation (e.g., Business Central, OneStream), ensuring business continuity.
  • Data Migration: Map, validate, and oversee data migration, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance.
  • User Journey Optimization: Analyze workflows, optimize user experiences, and document user journeys for Finance systems.
  • Change Impact Analysis: Assess operational impacts, identify risks, and support change management strategies.
  • Testing & UAT: Develop test plans, manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and resolve issues pre-go-live.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between business teams, IT, and vendors, ensuring alignment on project milestones and risks.
  • Risk Management: Identify, track, and mitigate risks related to platform separation, data migration, and TOM execution.
