The Toll Global Finance Operations is a centralised function providing General Accounting, Credit Management accounting issues and is business unit centred. The objectives of the Finance team are capability orientated to achieve effective decision making, to be easily understood by the customer and to be adaptable for ongoing continuous improvement.
Senior Business Analyst – Melbourne
The Opportunity

Due to internal movement, we are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our Global Finance Operations division based in Melbourne. As the Senior Business Analyst, you will:

  • Ensure adherence to Toll accounting policies and other generally accepted accounting standards.
  • Perform business analysis activities to ensure processes support the needs of the organisation and/or project.
  • Produce and document clear and concise process analysis artefacts.
  • Adopt appropriate tools and techniques to develop business/process analysis artefacts.
  • Refine existing processes and procedures where necessary to ensure alignment of existing frameworks.
  • Assist in getting process documentation completed for entire function and lead change to standard processes and procedures across span of control; to comply with group, divisional, operational, and statutory requirements.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge and experience in business process modelling according to customer and business needs.
  • Technical Accounting working knowledge desirable
  • Ability to communicate, challenge and test current processes and advise new ways of working via standardisation/optimisation
  • Working experience of implementing a Tier 1 ERP system (SAP/Oracle) Preferred not essential.
  • Functional expertise in the Finance Processes, preferably from working in a large, multinational organisation.
  • Continuous Improvement focus (Yellow Belt training preferable)
