Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong understanding of asset management to join our team. In this role you will quickly become a trusted partner to stakeholders across the business, identifying opportunities, shaping solutions, and helping to drive strategic initiatives forward through data-driven insights and analysis.
This is an important hire for Hayfin, at a time of pivotal growth after successful completion of a management buyout in 2025. You will be working closely with the Change and Transformation Director, as part of a small high-calibre team, and collaborating with senior leadership.

EXPERIENCE

  • 8+ years experience of analysing, documenting, and delivering business processes of a consistently high quality
  • 8+ years experience eliciting requirements specifications for IT based systems
  • Experienced at working within, or consulting to, asset or wealth management companies

SKILLS

  • Skilled in identifying, capturing, and documenting effective and detailed business requirements
  • Proven record in the facilitation of business stakeholders to draw out clear, concise, focused, and unambiguous requirements
  • Experience in data projects and collaborating with users and stakeholders to deliver data solutions
  • End to end experience of the project/ development lifecycle
  • Proven experience interacting directly with end users and business stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, able to adapt to be impactful across the business: from technical staff through to C-Suite
  • Ability to create and/or support business case development and cost benefit analysis
  • Ability to work in a complex operating environment where systems documentation is sometimes not available
  • Knowledge of business processes and project delivery in the context of asset management

KNOWLEDGE

  • Experience in process improvement, using methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma
  • Hold a BA qualification (e.g. BCS Diploma in Business Analysis) preferred
  • CFA Level 1/2 Preferred
  • Proven ability of using core Microsoft Office products
