Essential Skills and Experience

• Demonstrable hands on experience in the savings domain within the Netherlands market, including local product features, interest structures and customer propositions.
• Strong product knowledge across daily banking: current accounts, payment accounts, overdrafts, savings accounts, term deposits and associated servicing processes.
• Proven track record of business implementation, not only analysis. Evidence of having taken change through to live operation in a production banking environment.
• Working knowledge of the regulatory and compliance landscape applicable to Dutch retail banking, including deposit guarantee scheme requirements, KYC and CDD obligations under Wwft, PSD2, GDPR, MiFID adjacencies where relevant, and consumer protection and duty of care expectations.
• Familiarity with the Dutch supervisory context, in particular DNB and AFM expectations, and with interest and tax reporting obligations relevant to savings products.
• Ability to write clear functional documentation, business rules and acceptance criteria, and to defend them under scrutiny from risk, audit and compliance.
• Comfortable with data analysis, including the use of SQL or equivalent tooling to interrogate product and customer data and validate outcomes.
• Experience of Agile delivery and standard tooling such as Jira and Confluence.
• Strong stakeholder communication, able to move between operational detail and senior summary without losing precision.
