Position Title: Senior Business Analyst
Location: Hybrid

SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support enterprise-level projects and serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. The analyst will be responsible for gathering requirements, facilitating communication, analyzing business processes, and ensuring the successful delivery of system enhancements and new solutions. This role requires strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, along with the ability to work in Agile environments.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.
  • Proven ability to analyze business processes and identify areas for IT solution integration.
  • 6+ years of experience creating technical documentation such as business process models, workflow diagrams, and benefits realization documentation.
  • 5+ years of experience eliciting requirements and decomposing them into user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • 4+ years of experience working within Agile/SCRUM environments.
  • 4+ years of experience with financial systems or other enterprise-scale applications.
  • 3+ years of experience using backlog and project management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of Systems Engineering and Project Management methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working with government, public sector, or highly regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with secure application development lifecycle frameworks.
  • Prior exposure to large-scale financial or ERP systems.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business partners, project managers, and development teams.
  • Elicit, document, and validate business and technical requirements.
  • Perform business process analysis, including GAP analysis and SWOT analysis, to identify areas for improvement and potential IT solutions.
  • Create business documentation such as wireframes, context diagrams, workflow diagrams, and traceability matrices.
  • Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and user story development with business stakeholders.
  • Support Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure requirements are accurately implemented and tested.
  • Write and maintain test plans, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
  • Provide ongoing support for backlog management using tools such as Azure DevOps or equivalent platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with established methodologies and the secure application development lifecycle.
