Client: FL State Agency Position: Sr Business Analyst Manager Term: June 2026 - July 2027 with renewal Pay: $100/Hr - $105/Hr Location: On Site Tallahassee, Florida Work Authorization: ONLY USC or GC no other visas will be considered Education: A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or other related fields, or five (5) years of equivalent work experience is required. Certification: Certification in Business Analysis from a reputable body, such as the Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) from the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) or the Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) from the Project Management Institute Key Qualifications Experience: 5+ years as an IT Business Analyst in an enterprise environment. Technical Skills: Proficiency with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), data tools (SQL, Python, R, SAS), project management software (Jira), ERP systems, and MS Office (including Visio). Core Competencies: Strong background in business process modeling (As-Is/To-Be), technical requirement analysis, user story documentation, and process re-engineering. Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, cross-departmental collaboration, negotiation, and meeting facilitation skills. Core Responsibilities Strategic Support: Partner with the Program Manager and IT leadership to define, actualize, and implement project plans and goals. Requirements & Analysis: Lead requirement-gathering sessions (including JAD) and translate stakeholder needs into clear business and technical IT specifications. Process Improvement: Evaluate current workflows and develop recommendations for business process improvements. Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the primary bridge between business users, technical staff, and architects; manage stakeholder expectations and deliver executive briefings. Compliance & Coordination: Maintain all project artifacts and documentation in compliance with PMO standards and relevant state regulations
