Ongoing full-time role Shape future systems and processes for NSW Electoral Commission and drive fit-for-purpose solutions About the Role The Senior Business Analyst will be part of a dedicated multi-disciplinary team responsible for delivering product improvements across our core business systems, including support for products that have been built on our Salesforce platform. This is an opportunity to work within complex business processes supporting major election events, in an environment governed by legislative and regulatory requirements. You will lead complex analysis across a systems landscape with multiple interfaces, dependencies and downstream impacts. Strong communication, collaboration and analytical skills are essential, as you will engage with key stakeholders and suppliers to deliver product improvements. We are looking for a fast learner with a curious and proactive mindset, willing to drive progress and delivery. This is an Ongoing Full-time position. There may also be Temporary opportunities available. Key knowledge, experience and essential requirements As the successful candidate, you will have: Proven track record of successfully delivering complex requirements with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving objectives Solid understanding of system integrations and external interfaces Demonstrated experience in Agile and hybrid Agile/Waterfall environments, writing user stories, acceptance criteria, process documentation, as well as functional and non-functional requirements Prior experience supporting products that have been built on the Salesforce platform Experience producing high quality documentation of systems and process, with meticulous attention to detail Experience managing the product backlog, ensuring it accurately reflects business requests and priorities Demonstrated ability to articulate business problems, proposed solutions, and identify associated risks, through credible verbal and written communication to inform senior management decision making Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate, influence and partner effectively with key business and technical stakeholders across the organisation Experience delivering under pressure, against challenging immovable election deadlines Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent relevant professional experience Politically neutral with no affiliation to political parties or lobbyists/campaigners Satisfactory criminal Record check result About the NSW Electoral Commission The New South Wales Electoral Commission delivers trusted and independent systems, processes, oversight and engagement that support democracy in New South Wales.
