Description

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are urgently seeking a highly capable Senior Business Analyst to drive a critical, fast-paced financial systems transformation. Based in Melbourne, this pivotal role centers on optimizing enterprise financial platforms and bridging the gap between technical delivery and business operations. You will be instrumental in steering the project through accelerated testing phases and ensuring business readiness for a highly anticipated year-end system launch. If you are an Oracle ERP expert who thrives in agile, deadline-driven environments and excels at mapping complex financial workflows, this is an exceptional opportunity to make a tangible impact on a major enterprise initiative.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Guiding and empowering business stakeholders through rigorous test cycles, ensuring they are fully prepared for critical User Acceptance Testing (UAT) targeted for mid-October.
  • Conducting comprehensive fit-gap assessments to identify and bridge disparities between current legacy frameworks and the future-state architectural design.
  • Analyzing and mapping holistic, end-to-end operational workflows, meticulously detailing both system-based interactions and manual, offline administrative activities.
  • Partnering collaboratively with Organizational Change Management teams to clearly articulate, document, and manage the business impacts of newly implemented processes.
  • Driving project momentum to meet tight delivery milestones, including facilitating System Integration Testing (SIT) readiness by late August and ensuring all operational deliverables are finalized for an early December go-live.

 MORE ABOUT YOU

  • Proven track record operating as a Senior Business Analyst within complex enterprise transformations, with deep, hands-on expertise in Oracle Financials.
  • Demonstrated proficiency and specialized knowledge in Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM) alongside Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), specifically focusing on the planning and budgeting modules.
  • Extensive experience navigating full project lifecycles, with a strong capability in managing UAT preparation, execution, and stakeholder sign-off.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate intricate technical functionalities into clear, business-centric process maps and impact assessments.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement capabilities, comfortable working alongside change leads, technical developers, and business end-users alike.
