We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance background to join our team in Berkeley Heights, NJ. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity with a highly competitive hourly rate and a strong path to full-time conversion.
The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of P&C operations (rating, policy administration, claims, underwriting) and the ability to bridge business needs with technical solutions. This role requires a hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite per week—a key expectation for success in this role.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of Property & Casualty insurance operations experience with a carrier or MGA.
• Strong understanding of underwriting, rating, policy administration, and claims.
• Hands-on experience with business requirements gathering and system implementation.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Perform gap analysis between current and future state to optimize solutions.

• Provide progress reports and UAT results to project leadership.
