REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or other applicable fields; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of four years of directly related experience in gathering, analysis, interpretation, trending, forecasting, project management and modeling skills.
  • Understanding of project life cycles.
  • Project management skills including project leadership, task identification, scheduling, and cost/expenditure identification.
  • Proficient with the use of personal computers including spreadsheet, database, word processing, and presentation applications to gather, analyze, and model information.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to consult with internal and external customers regarding matters/issues which may be sensitive and complex in nature.
  • Ability to work with all levels of an organization including people with different styles and backgrounds; ability to work as a member of a team; ability to present alternatives and recommendations.

Responsibilities

GENERAL PURPOSE

Manages moderately complex projects/assignments with a considerable corporate and/or business impact. Provides analysis and feasibility studies, establishes project goals, negotiates timelines/schedules, and develops project plans. Conducts analysis through research, gathering and interpretation of data, development of alternatives and recommendations. Analyses include, but are not limited to, feasibility studies, trending/forecasting, financial analysis, budget analysis and reporting, and benchmarking.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze and compare actual project costs to authorized business costs. Report on current year capital and OMAG run-rate budgets and costs for T&D facilities teams.
  • Prepare future-year capital and OMAG run-rate plan by soliciting and compiling information from facilities personnel and T&D site managers.
  • Prepare reports documenting department purchasing documents meet company compliance requirements.
  • Prepare reports documenting operating costs for T&D operational sites.
  • Research and document department processes. Develop process mapping documents.
  • Perform complex assignments lacking precedent and requiring creativity.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and provide training and communication of changes in policies and procedures.
  • Provide advice or functional direction and assume a lead role in the work group.
  • Perform audits and inquiries; assess business issues and risks.
  • Research and analyze complex data.
  • Report on performance and develop alternatives and recommendations for improvement to management.
  • Provide training on policies, procedures, governance, etc. for procurement policies, and capital projects governance.
  • Establish and maintain a documentation program.
  • Manage moderately complex projects, research, track, and report on initiatives.
  • Facilitate team efforts, provide guidance and direction to team members, and communicate project objectives, parameters, status, and outcomes.
