We work on international projects with financial institutions, fintechs, and startups. About the role We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with strong experience in banking integrations and post-merger migration processes, capable of acting as a bridge between business and technical teams in complex environments. Proven experience in UK banking migrations is key, along with strong analytical capabilities in legacy systems and a data-driven mindset. Responsibilities: Analyze and document complex business requirements within Mainframe (z/OS) and COBOL environments. Define and lead data migration strategies, including mapping, validation, and reconciliation of critical data (customers, accounts, transactions). Ensure functional and regulatory continuity of financial products such as mortgages, current accounts, and savings. Act as a liaison between international stakeholders, facilitating communication between business and technical teams. Identify risks and dependencies in migration processes, leveraging lessons learned from previous large-scale projects. Contribute to solutions that enable platform modernization while ensuring data integrity. Requirements: Proven experience as a Business Analyst in large-scale banking migration projects. Hands-on knowledge of Mainframe (z/OS) environments and ability to understand COBOL logic. Strong experience in Data Migration (ETL, data mapping, data cleansing, reconciliation). Deep understanding of UK retail banking products and regulatory frameworks. Previous experience in historical UK migrations (e.g., Abbey National, RBS, Alliance & Leicester) is highly valued. High level of English. Professional level of Spanish (highly desirable for international coordination).
