Your responsibilities:

This role combines finance expertise, BI competence, and consulting skills. We are not looking for a purely technical developer, but rather an analytically strong individual who understands business areas, translates requirements, designs data products, and creates modern, decision-oriented analysis and reporting solutions with Qlik.

- Gathering, analyzing, and structuring requirements from finance, controlling, and management

- Advising specialist departments on key performance indicators (KPIs), data products, analysis methods, and visualizations

- Developing and further developing Qlik dashboards, self-service reports, and management analyses

- Creating reports on financial KPIs, target/actual variances, forecasts, risks, and management impulses

- Providing significant support in the closing phases, for example, with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

- Automating manual reporting processes, including through in-house data transformations in solutions such as dbt

- Validating, verifying, and documenting data, KPIs, and business logic

- Liaison with finance, controlling, specialist departments, data engineering, IT, as well as external partners and auditors for the development, validation, and provision of reliable BI and data solutions

- Supporting interactive BI use cases, for example, commenting, data entry, or feedback via Qlik Data+

Your profile

- Several years of experience in business intelligence, finance analytics, controlling analytics, or a comparable field

- Good understanding of Financial processes, business relationships, and relevant KPIs

- Proficient use of BI tools, ideally Qlik Sense or Qlik Cloud

- Excellent knowledge of SQL and experience in data modeling, reporting, and data visualization

- Experience with dbt, Python, Airflow, or comparable technologies is an advantage

- Ability to translate business requirements into clear, user-oriented BI solutions

- Structured, independent, and quality-conscious work style

- Strong communication skills in collaboration with specialist departments, management, IT, and data engineering

- Excellent German skills; English skills are an advantage.
