With us you’ll be doing just that, leaving a legacy for all Australians. Plus, there’s equal employment, great training, and true flexible working arrangements. We have an exciting opportunity at nbn for a Senior Business Compliance Analyst, supporting our Field Services organisation and reporting into the Executive Manager Engagement and Business Management. A bit about your role An opportunity is available for a Senior Business Analyst (Risk & Operations) to support Field Services through the delivery of robust risk management practices and strong business management support. This role is primarily focused on key accountabilities that represent the largest components of the position: Risk Management and Business Management (BM) initiatives. You will support the Operations and Corporate Risk teams to deliver first line risk activities, including maintaining the Field Services risk register (ServiceNow), coordinating quarterly risk reviews, tracking treatment plans, and providing timely input into monthly and quarterly risk reporting. In addition, you will deliver a range of BM analysis and initiatives across Field Services, including ad hoc project support, supporting and guiding procurement processes and responding to procurement-related queries, supporting senior leaders, delivering attrition analysis and reporting, conducting exit interviews, and managing applications and submissions for industry awards. You will also contribute to Data Privacy, Security and Regulatory Compliance, including supporting privacy and security matters and providing analysis and insights to assist with security and fraud investigations, with findings and outcomes submitted to the Field Services SLT as required. Safety and wellbeing underpins all aspects of the role. A bit about you You are an experienced analyst with demonstrated capability in a risk, data privacy, or data security compliance role within a complex operational environment. You have a proven ability to implement and maintain governance and reporting disciplines, and to translate frameworks and policy requirements into practical, fit-for-purpose ways of working. You will bring: Demonstrated experience supporting first line risk management activities, including risk registers, risk governance, reporting, treatment plan tracking, and risk reviews. Experience supporting assurance activities, including control testing and engagement with internal audit/second line teams. Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to develop productive relationships and provide clear, professional advice across operational and corporate stakeholders. Capability to deliver business management initiatives, including project support, procurement process support, workforce and attrition reporting, and operational governance activities. Advanced analytical skills, including advanced Excel and Power BI, with strong attention to detail, planning and prioritisation. Life at nbn To be part of nbn is to be part of something bigger.
